We've all heard stories like this before. Companies that want to work with artists in exchange for exposure. Why do companies go to small independent businesses asking for free work? Reguardless what the promo might do for their business, which is usually not a lot.
This reminds me of the movie The Player's Club. Actress, Crystal Wilson, who played Ronie in the movie will represent "The Big Company". Vultures circling the sky waiting for a small independent businesses to devawer. Looking for that "New Booty"!
Ronnie was a walking, talking embodiment of everything that people found wrong with strip club culture.
In the beginning, Ronnie and sidekick Trixie, portrayed by comedy legend Adele Givens, roll up on Diamond working in a shoe store. They immediately knew that she would be a money maker at the club (light skin, conventionally desirable figure etc.)
At first, Ronnie is seen as a mentor of sorts, someone to show Diamond the ropes at the club. However, when cousin Ebony appears on the scene, this changes. Suddenly, Diamond and Ronnie are adversaries because of opposing views of what Ebony should be doing.

The BackSpin Radio and 99.3 FM.
Fun Fact No.1, this fun fact has two parts, to begin with F.O.A. was the name given to me from a fellow grafitti artist for my grafitti clique way back-when I was in the 6th grade (my tag name was 'Blue'). This too happened while in catholic school. I attended Immaculate Conception Elementry School (ICS) in Jamaica, Queens NY.
Fun fact part "B", Christopher Cuomo attened ICS as well. Cuomo is the brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and son of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo.
Fun Fact No.2, When I was 15 my mother and I moved to California. Long story short; we lived in LA where I attended Alexander Hamilton H.S. and that
was the underlying foundation of my artsy life. I studied the piano, violin, the flute, sign language, theater arts, singing and rapping. The name "Female Of Art", embodies everything I am today. So the fun fact is... Hamilton High School was also the school Ermias Joseph Asghedom, known professionally as Nipsey Hussle attened.
Fun Fact No.3,this website is a school project I'm turning into something real. This is my very first site I coded completly on my own without using a pre-set template or anything like that.
